Support Personal Lines and Distribution by analyzing portfolio data and uncovering insights that will help prioritize work based on strategic alignment, impact, effort, risk, etc. Use this data to prepare financial reports for management personnel at all levels. Support business case standardization for P/L and Distribution including KPI forecasting and post-implementation tracking. Support release management and work closely with P/L Finance on capital funded projects. Help build a future state where portfolio reporting is automated and in real-time.
Support the P/L agile transformation by establishing the financial framework that highlights the value of MVPs and setting the goals/benefits for the short term plans.
Prepare monthly portfolio reporting that uses key performance indicator metrics to provide analysis on trends and drivers
Build out the model that will be used to identify and track value in an agile environment
Develop financial and business models to provide the business additional insight to make decisions on improving the business
Track project metrics post-implementation and provide ongoing analysis
Perform consolidation and analysis on annual and quarterly strategic planning
Prepare ad hoc reports, analysis and conduct special projects as necessary
Analyze underlying business factors that drive positive portfolio health
Provide critical feedback on capital appropriation proposals
Conduct financial review of vendors and review Capital Appropriation Proposals
Promotes safety at all times and complies with safety/ergonomic standards as outlined in relevant company published manuals
Required job duties are essentially sedentary in nature, consisting of occasion walking, standing, lifting and/or carrying ten pounds maximum, seeing, speaking, and hearing.
Required job duties are normally performed in a climate-controlled office environment.
Bachelor's degree required in Accounting, Finance or related field. Preferably have passed 1 CPA or CMA exam or have completed 2 MBA or Master courses. Lean Yellow Belt preferred.
External candidates should have a minimum of 4 years of prior Accounting, Finance and/or Data Analytics experience. The same time-on-job requirement is preferred for internal candidates.
Advanced Excel skills including working knowledge of pivot tables, macros and functions. Proficient in Access and SAP.
Proficiency in Alteryx, Tableau or other data analytics tools preferred.
Candidate qualifications may be reviewed against the requirements for the associated levels of this position's core function. Salary grade will be based on selected candidates' experience and skills.
