Job Summary 
Plans, directs, develops, and coordinates all sales related activities to accomplish revenue goals, and market penetration for the assigned region, and is responsible for the attainment of overall department objectives. Recommends new products as appropriate and coordinates sales activity, programs and promotions, working with all appropriate personnel. Scope: Must meet scope as defined by the business unit. This is a virtual position that will support a part of the Midwest.
Essential Job Functions 
Plans and assists in the communications, sales support, research, and sales promotion efforts to develop markets and stimulate sales and registration growth in the assigned coverage area. Develops, implements and manages related short, mid and long-term region objectives, strategies, actions and budgets for implementation in the assigned coverage area. Evaluates and manages field force objectives and plans for accomplishment to assure that goals are achieved. Includes regular review and revision as necessary. Responsible for identifying market trends and maintaining current industry knowledge to affect strategic and tactical decisions for the organization Ensures understanding and application of technology in sales process to maximize effectiveness of field personnel. Works with the marketing and training functions to develop and deliver training and education material including but not limited to product additions/changes and training to increase producer engagement Responsible for regular, clear, concise and consistent communication to executive management, and all distribution field leadership in assigned coverage area Acts as a liaison with other departments within Farmers; represents Farmers Financial Solutions in dealings with agents. Promotes safety at all times and complies with safety/ergonomic standards as outlined in relevant company published manuals. Performs other duties as assigned.  
Education Requirements 
Bachelor's degree peferred and attainment of, or actively pursuing, major insurance designation. Securities Licensed 6 (required), 63 (where required), and 26 (Preferred but will have to be obtained). Series 7 and State Insurance license with variable endorsement preferred. Applicant should be pursuing an industry designation such as ChFC, CFP or CLU. 
Experience Requirements 
Five years in a Marketing and/or Sales management position or comparable industry experience. 
Special Skill Requirement 
Requires extensive knowledge of life and financial service industry, especially in regard to distribution, sales systems, compensation and performance evaluation.
