The Digital Services Strategist is responsible for deploying innovative solutions through the Credit Union's digital channels. This role will collaborate with senior management, business unit stakeholders, the core product team, and the information technology team in the development and implementation of digital strategies that are in line with, and support the organization's overall business objectives. This role will build out strategies that deliver improved user experience.
Essential Job Functions
Through partnering with key stakeholders, provides direction for the development, design, and systems integration of digital projects from exploratory phase through implementation.
Serves as the project sponsor ensuring successful implementation.
Ensures digital solutions are developed and deployed in a timely manner to help increase operational efficiency and leading-edge products.
Collaborate with management and business units to ensure the digital strategy is successfully embedded across the organization, and digital platforms are utilized across the Credit Union.
Develops and supports execution of communication strategies.
Partner with cross-functional stakeholders in business, product, technology, and design to gather input and drive alignment with the Credit Union's overall business strategy.
Attend conferences and seminars to gather fresh insight on new and emerging technologies with emphasis on improving the member experience.
Proactively introduces new trends and consults with business units on potential integration.
Sits or stands for extended periods of time, up to a full work shift. Occasionally reaches overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping. Occasionally moves, lifts, carries, and places objects and supplies weighing 0-10 pounds without assistance. Listens to, interprets, and differentiates auditory information (e.g. others speaking) at normal speaking levels with or without correction. Visually verifies and reads information. Visually locates material, resources and other objects. Ability to continuously operate a computer for extended periods of time, up to a full work shift. Physical dexterity sufficient to use hands, arms, and shoulders repetitively to operate keyboard and other office equipment up to a full work shift.
Physical Environment: This position operates in an open office working environment which will include normal and customary distractions, noise, and interruptions.
Education Requirements: High School Diploma or Equivalent required. Bachelors Degree preferred.
Minimum of 5 years in the financial services industry or related digital work experience required.
Working knowledge of core banking solutions, digital mobile banking systems, and FinTech required.
Minimum of 5 years in a leadership or project management position preferred.
