Job Summary 
Analyzes existing procedures; Develops recommendations for improvements & refinements; handles routine problems stemming from inquiries from region; maintains existing forms, records and procedures. 
Essential Job Functions 
Reviews Commercial systems (including, but not limited to, CLS, Mainfile, Reinsurance) processing and recommends design changes to improve processing or incorporate coverage/underwriting rule changes. Develops test matrices, provides review and sign off for Commercial systems testing. Provides assistance to Home Office and Regional Commercial departments regarding rating methodology and systems processing. Handles to completion Regional inquiries or correspondence, including PCSTs and telephone calls; routes as necessary to other departments and does follow up to insure timely completion. Coordinates new and revised procedures with necessary staff departments; drafts memos, manual pages and procedure bulletins as necessary. Conducts studies as requested by supervisor and recommends modifications or refinements required as a result of changes in policies or programs. Reviews Field Bulletins, training and Marketing materials for accuracy as regards operations or procedures. Conducts Field travel as necessary to Regional Offices or vendors. Performs other functions as assigned. 
Physical Actions 
Required job duties are essentially sedentary work consisting of occasional walking standing and lifting and/or carrying 10 lbs. maximum. 
Physical Environment 
Required job duties are normally performed in a climate controlled office environment. 
Education Requirements 
Four year college degree and IIA Certificate in General Insurance and completion of CPCU parts 1, 3, and 4. 
Experience Requirements 
For applicants without a four year degree, three years with FIG as a Senior Commercial Service Analyst. 
Special Skill Requirement 
Ability to use PC and Mainframe systems. 

Candidate qualifications may be reviewed against the requirements for the associated levels of this position's core function. Salary grade will be based on selected candidates' experience and skills.
