Job Summary 
  
 
  • The Project Manager manages all aspects of medium scale projects (up to $10MM in budget), including the overall execution of multiple fast-paced programs: from business case development through implementation.
  • The Project Manager is expected to focus on customer experience, and delivering on business outcomes, quality, cost, and schedule.
  • The projects involve significant risks and benefits to the company. In order to maximize business value, the project manager creates and maintains approved project budgets (IT and business combined), interfaces with multiple functions/departments, considers impacts to agents and customers (directly or indirectly), and addresses complex business, legal or regulatory issues.
  • This position requires daily interaction with executives with a focus primarily on facilitating issue resolution and timely decision making.
  • Additionally, interaction with personnel in all areas of the company is required. 
  
Essential Job Functions 
  
  • Forms project teams and defines roles and responsibilities for each of the team members.
  • Integrates all team members and departments to foster a collaborative environment where teams are working together to implement the program successfully, with occasional guidance from leadership and peers.
  • Develops and constructs project plans, status reports, executive presentations and process maps.
  • Plans will consist of task lists, Gantt charts, and other necessary planning documents.
  • Plans should be well thought out, actionable, reasonable and professionally presented.

Education Requirements 
  
High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent, relevant experience. PMP and/or CSM certification or equivalent. 
  
Experience Requirements 
  
6+ years' experience in a project management environment 
  
Special Skill Requirement 
  
  • Must be able to manage multiple and concurrent cross functional project(s) from conception through to completion.
  • Must have high proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, etc.).
  • Must have strong analytical, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must possess strong leadership skills
  • Must have strong interpersonal skills.
  • Must have excellent time management skills to handle multiple assignments and competing priorities.
  • Must be able to work independently.
  • Must have the ability to explain complex concepts/issues in simple terms.
  • Exposure to Waterfall and Agile methodologies highly desirable.
