Responsible for new agent performance within an assigned geography from reserve contract to the first three months of a new agent's career. Serves as the primary contact for agents during this period for marketing, sales service, products and storefront. Promotes overall company value proposition and assists agents drive early results by consulting on products, services and technology to achieve new agents objectives. Collaborates with key stakeholders in local area and home office to report and monitor agency progress toward key onboarding milestones. Coordinates new agent appointment contract requirements and administration with local recruiting and sales teams.
Essential Job Functions
Consults with Farmers reserve agents and newly appointed agents within assigned territory regarding marketing, sales, products, agency storefront and agency administration in support of the agents' business plan objectives. This is achieved by consulting with various resources within Farmers to improve productivity and sales. Routinely records information regarding agency contact, activity and progress toward new agent milestones in centralized customer relationship management system. Offers solutions to program questions and concerns and/or direct agent candidates to subject matter experts. Acts as a liaison among territory office employees by providing and receiving regular updates to/from recruiters, sales team members, directors and home office. Collaborates closely with these stakeholders to monitor agent progress through onboarding milestones and makes recommendations for agent appointment. Explains and monitors applicable financial support programs, educational milest ones and other agent program requirements. Administers new agent appointment contract and ensures agents meet Farmers new agent gui delines and standards. Provides regular feedback to home office team regarding enhancements to the onboarding process and development of new agent programs. Performs other duties as assigned.
High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor's degree preferred. Must obtain Property/Casualty, Life (and Health if applicable) licenses within 6 months.
1-3 years working in an insurance related role required. 1-3 years experience with agency licensing and contracting required. 3-5 years prior sales experience a plus, including 5 years with Sales, Operations and/or Marketing exposure or comparable experience preferred.
