Provide intermediate/advanced commission, policy service and accounting support to all customers, internal and external. Utilize knowledge and experience to quickly and accurately process work and resolve issues. Support other Tech and Analyst levels. Build on experience to handle more involved tasks.
Essential Job Functions
Investigate/analyze/handle routine, non-routine and increased complexity transactions and correspondence received via client, agent, email or phone. Research issues and process requests/adjustments related to policies, commissions and banking. Follow and enforce all ICG/SOX/SEC controls as they relate to policy disbursements, journal entries and quality assurance Understand and verify information related to LLR, I&P, advances, chargebacks ensuring accuracy. Relay information to agency force as needed. Perform daily review and verification of GL input of all bank deposits, disbursements, funding entries, sweeps and transfers. Review, investigate and follow through on bank reconciling items, suspense account discrepancies, lost payments and special billing modes. Handle/prepare all correspondence related to billing and payments. Handle all incoming and ACD calls, of various intensities, using appropriate customer service skills. Maintain regular contact with other departm ents/offices to obtain and convey information and/or to correct transactions. Contribute ideas and help implement process improvements/efficiencies geared toward quality, productivity, improvement of the Customer Experience, Clean Desk Standards and NPS. Skill building/training, personal admin, compliance activities, etc. Has authority to issue disbursements, journal vouchers, wire transfers and manual check requests up to assigned dollar value. High school diploma or equivalent required. Completion of some LOMA classes preferred.
Two years as a Financial Operations Technician (I &II), with at least 6 months as a Tech II.
Special Skill Requirement
This is a clerical level position. Accounting and/or billing system familiarity preferred. Basic math, verbal, and written communication skills required Intermediate desk-top Personal Computing skills required Basic problem solving and troubleshooting skills required Ability to remain flexible to meet deadlines in a multi-tasking environment preferred.
