You will develop crucial and highly valuable data analytics skills as well as soft skills through the course of your internship. These include, but are not limited to:

  • Data querying, manipulation and visualization
  • Data analysis, communication and presentation of meaningful insights to peers and senior leadership
  • Networking with friendly, highly supportive colleagues of diverse backgrounds and skillsets

Job Summary 


We are looking for a curious, passionate, and hard-working student pursuing a Business, Statistics, or related major to participate in a Claims Customer Experience paid internship.  The intern experience will be highly collaborative and immersive, with the selected intern working on real customer experience data sets to derive business insights for presentation to Claims Leadership.  Over the course of the summer, the intern will also complete research on identifying customer insights, understanding target markets and the development of processes to deliver on those market expectations.    

                     

 

Education Requirements 

  • Current student pursuing a Master’s or Undergraduate degree in Business, Statistics, Economics, Finance, Mathematics, or related major

Preferred Skills & Abilities  

  • Analysts should have proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and exposure to at least one programming language (e.g., VBA, SQL, Python, R, Tableau, Alteryx)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Ability to manipulate and analyze data to address and solve business problems
  • Current student pursuing a Master’s or Undergraduate degree in Business, Statistics, Economics, Finance, Mathematics, or related major
  • Self-motivated, methodical individuals with attention to detail and effective time-management skills
  • Willingness to independently learn and make an impact within a team environment
  • GPA of 3.0 or greater on a 4.0 scale
  • Ability to work eight to twelve weeks during the summer
  • Eligible to work in the United States 

Physical Actions 

 

Required job duties are essentially sedentary in nature, consisting of occasional walking, standing, lifting and/or carrying ten pounds maximum.
