Job Summary 
  
As a Sr. Privacy and Information Governance Analyst, you’ll work closely with privacy program leadership to advance and mature Farmers’ privacy program by embedding privacy principals and controls throughout our organization. This opportunity allows you to demonstrate your analytical and problem-solving skills in privacy, data privacy, and/or information governance. You will work with diverse and dynamic teams across multiple business functions, demonstrating ongoing skill development in the legal area of privacy.

Duties

Help coordinate and evolve Farmers's Privacy Program
Support the development and management of internal privacy and data protection controls
Manage projects related to ongoing compliance with privacy and data protection laws, and related requirements
Coordinate cross-functionally and drive resolution on a diverse range of privacy incidents
Analyze root causes, trends and systematic issues and prepare reports/dashboards for management


Preferred Background

Bachelor’s degree and 3 + years of experience working as a privacy and/or compliance professional
Experience in privacy and data protection laws.
CIPP certification(s) or working toward certification preferred.
Experience conducting privacy reviews, privacy impact assessments, and/or privacy law implementations
Excellent project management, communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence and foster lasting relationships with internal clients.

Develops business requirements through analysis on business activities, industry trends and sponsor requests. Works with business leader to define project scope Performs impact analysis of business process changes/enhancements across the organization Understands customers objectives, processes and products in order to make educated recommendations Oversees Business Requirement gathering and analysis Acts as liaison between Business Sponsors and IT staff Supports application testing, implementation, and training activities Performs quality review checks on project deliverables Mentors/supervises lower level peers on project tasks by managing the daily and long term work efforts of assigned staff for a particular segment of work May require occasional traveling

High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent relevant work experience.

Ability to actively take part in meetings and conferences and communicate effectively Capable of composing reports and high level technical explanations Leads and manages project support staff for medium to large projects/enhancements affecting multiple business and IT departments.
