Lead Lean Management System implementation initiatives focused on creating a sustainable culture of enterprise excellence. The scope of the initiatives include multiple functions/departments, impact agents and customers, and contain complex business, legal or regulatory issues. This position requires interaction with executives and other personnel throughout the organization, an understanding of business across the enterprise, and a focus on strong leadership, critical thinking, effective facilitation / influencing.
Support our Operational Excellence team and our engaged leadership team to design and implement a Lean Management System, including behavior systems, strategy deployment, daily management, kaizen, practical problem solving, waste elimination, innovation systems, design thinking, value stream mapping, takt, flow, pull, customer journey mapping, retrospectives and A3 thinking.
Coach leaders at all levels utilizing and improving a Lean Leader Coaching program.
Work to create an intentional culture where people are able to work mindfully and deliver value for our customers.
Facilitate and lead training classes to increase employee engagement in the Lean program.
Identify and execute on improvement opportunities - supporting the company's performance through efficiency savings, better performing business processes, and customer-aligned processes.
Provide guidance to Executive Sponsor / BU Lead to help them understand interdependencies, connect operational metrics to business processes and focus improvement strategies to yield productivity improvement, operational excellence and improved customer experience.
Align internal business processes with desired customer experience.
High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor’s degree preferred. Certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt.
4+ years' experience in a continuous improvement role 2-3 years Training/Coaching Lean Six Sigma, Process Improvement methodology (Awareness, Yellow Belt & Green Belt) required CE/NPS, Customer Journey Mapping experience, User-Experience Design & Testing - preferred
Strong leadership skills and ability to influence and build a collaborative environment Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal Strong analytical and facilitation skills Expertise in MS Office - Excel, Word, Powerpoint & Visio Ability to travel - 50-75% of the time
